Creative Writing II, Experimental

Catalog description

This course is designed for the advanced creative writer. Students deepen their practice of craft and explore traditional and contemporary forms in creative nonfiction and poetry through both reading and writing. Students develop sophisticated skills in workshopping, offering and receiving substantive peer feedback to strengthen their own work and the work of others. Students also partner with The Phoenix literary magazine, engaging in the editorial process and contributing original work, to develop a fuller understanding of how creative writing lives in the world beyond the classroom.
