14 Skills Lab Hours Prerequisites: ECT 151 Description This advanced skills course focuses on electrical system installation, protection and control methods. Third-year apprentices at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local #5 complete hands-on activities aligned with the Electrical Training Alliance third-session curriculum. Emphasis is placed on grounding and bonding, overcurrent protection, construction documentation, motor installations, motor control circuits, rigging practices and jobsite leadership behaviors.
