2 Lab Hours Prerequisites: DMS 203 , DMS 223C or DMS 224C , DMS 204 , DMS 210 Co-requisites: DMS 225C - Ultrasound Clinical 4/Abdomen-OB/GYN See program requirements for second spring semester according to specialty. Description Theory and practical application are combined to advance the student’s technical skills in vascular imaging. Students explore valuable information on normal and pathological states of the peripheral vascular, cerebrovascular and abdominal vascular systems. Technical information such as spectral analysis in Doppler, hemodynamics of the circulatory system as well as scanning techniques and protocols are covered. During laboratory, students utilize classroom theory in examining various vascular systems.
