3 Skills Lab Hours Description This course is an introduction to tap dance. Students acquire an understanding of the foundational principles and techniques characteristic of tap dance. Emphasis is placed on the communicative nature of dance as an art form. Various dance skills encourage body awareness and a commitment to physical activity. No prior dance training is required.
