This course examines serial homicide from criminological, investigative and criminal justice perspectives. Students analyze offender behavior, victimology, investigative strategies, and ethical considerations through research-based models and case studies. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, professional responsibility, prevention strategies, and the role of practioners. The course avoids sensationalism and focuses on evidence based practices.
