Catalog description

This course introduces students to the evolving role of the construction project manager in today’s complex building environment. Emphasis is placed on selecting appropriate project delivery systems, coordinating preconstruction and procurement processes, managing risk and implementing quality control. Students also explore the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM), Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), sustainable designs and innovative technologies to support project execution and performance.
