Construction Plans

Catalog description

This course introduces students to the interpretation of construction plans used in residential and commercial projects. Students identify drawing components, interpret information across different views and apply construction practices to understand how buildings are documented. Learners create freehand sketches to support communication and compute basic quantities for excavation and concrete. By the end of the course, students evaluate complete plan sets to support entry-level construction tasks.
