4 Skills Lab Hours Prerequisites: ATE 121 Description This course includes the theory, operation and application of electronic sensing devices. The computer process of sensing a condition, deciding on an output and controlling the output are covered in detail. Students study computer networking as it applies to the vehicle. Students also use specific test equipment to interface with the vehicle’s computer system to analyze and diagnose vehicle faults. Certain course sections are manufacturer-specific.
