5 Studio Hours Prerequisites: ART 222 Description This course is a continuation of ART 222 Painting 2. Studio exercises may include painting from observation, the figure, landscape, abstraction, narrative and conceptual approaches. Emphasis is placed on the development of personal aesthetic with an awareness of how the work fits into contemporary painting practices.
