4 Lab Hours Prerequisites: ANE 110 and ANE 111 Description This course covers the theory and concepts of the use and function of anesthesia supplies and equipment used for various surgical procedures to include studies in general, regional and conscious sedations as well as patient positioning. Additional topics are types of anesthesia emergencies, including difficult airways, malignant hyperthermia, hemorrhage and cardiac arrest.
