Catalog description

This course introduces students to specialized exploration in cybersecurity, offering a foundational understanding of various topics beyond the standard curriculum. Professors design and deliver engaging courses that cover a range of foundational theoretical concepts and practical hands-on applications. The course content evolves with each offering, allowing for exploration of emerging developments in the field of cybersecurity. Students participate in in-depth study, hands-on exercises, and collaborative projects, providing them with a fundamental grasp of the selected specialized topic. This course provides an accessible entry point to advanced cybersecurity concepts and encourages students to explore the dynamic and evolving field. May be repeated for credit when content varies. Prerequisite(s): permission of instructor.
