Catalog description

This class is designed for first-year, matriculated UAlbany students and focuses on helping them develop the skills they need to succeed in college and at the University at Albany. Students will focus on college-level skills including time management, study, note taking, and test taking skills, transitional challenges, and health and wellbeing strategies. The course will emphasize exploring majors and minors, and understanding resources available to support student success and goals. It will integrate transitional and success theories from leading scholars. Only one of U UNI 100, U UNI 105, E SPY 120 and U UNI 120 may be taken for credit. Prerequisite(s): for matriculated students in their first year at UAlbany.
