Catalog description

A course focusing on the historical, theoretical, and practical issues surrounding psychological testing. Topics covered include practical and theoretical interpretation of common personality, industrial, educational, cognitive, and attitude tests. Evaluating utility, test bias, and error. Using tests in clinical, educational, and workplace settings. Historical, ethical, and legal environments of testing also addressed. Prerequisite(s): A PSY 210 and A PSY 211.
