Catalog description

Surveys the domestic and international politics of migration. Examines labor migration to advanced industrial states, border control, immigrant incorporation, refugee policies, emigrant participation in home country politics and the effect of migration on international development, democratization, and security. Prerequisite(s): junior or senior standing, or permission of instructor.
