Catalog description
Systematic study of problems and theories concerning concepts, methods, and presuppositions of the social sciences. Includes a discussion of the relation of the social sciences to the natural sciences. Topics may include: behaviorism, rational choice theory, methodological individualism, interpretivism, and critical theory. Theories may be illustrated with case studies. Prerequisite(s): 100 or 200 level course in Philosophy.
