Catalog description

This course will focus on the quantum properties of a variety of materials systems and how these properties govern bulk and nanoscale material characteristics. Topics will focus on discrete energy levels and orbital theory and relation to spectroscopy, material phase transformations and kinetics. Prerequisite(s): N SCI/I NSC 350.
