Peer Mentoring in Business

Catalog description
Designed for students to support teaching, tutoring and mentoring of lower-division students in academic courses involving business software and analytics at UAlbany. Students assume roles of responsibility and leadership in supporting other students and demonstrate high standards for academic accomplishment, knowledge of and respect for the University's resources, policies and procedures. Students will gain experience working with peers in a business-focused, educative manner and will become familiar with the field of instruction and training. Enrollment requires permission of instructor. May be repeated for credit. May be taken by students who completed E EPL 456 or 457 in support of School of Business courses, but B ITM 280 will not satisfy requirements where E EPL 456 or 457 are specified. Prerequisite(s): B ITM 215, permission of instructor. S/U graded.
