In this collaborative and hands-on course, students form teams, each representing their unique specialization within game design and development. The primary goal is to address a real-world challenge or project in the game design and development field. The specific project or challenge will be determined based on the current needs of the industry and the strengths of each student team. The instructor of C GDD 458 serves as a mentor to the student teams, offering guidance and expertise to help them navigate the complexities of their projects. This mentorship is essential for students as they apply their skills to tackle real-world problems. The course encourages teamwork, problem-solving, and the application of specialized knowledge in a practical context. It provides a dynamic environment where students can gain hands-on experience and make meaningful contributions to the field of game design and development. Students may repeat this course for credit, with a maximum of 6 credits, by obtaining permission from the department.
