Students will engage with the complex world of multiplayer game development. This course focuses on advanced networking principles, including architecture, protocols, and synchronization necessary to craft seamless online experiences. Students will learn through theory and hands-on projects, which include analyzing successful case studies and creating their own networked game solutions. By the end, students will be adept at overcoming the technical challenges of multiplayer gaming, ensuring high-quality, responsive gameplay for users worldwide. Prerequisite(s): C GDD 203.
