This course explores the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) techniques with building and environmental systems, preparing students to address challenges in indoor air quality, occupant comfort, energy efficiency, and sustainable infrastructure. Students will gain foundational skills in Python programming, machine learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning, while also engaging with advanced topics such as model predictive control, data-driven modeling, and empirical evaluation of real-world building systems. Prerequisite(s): A MAT 370 or I EGR 370.
