Catalog description

This course introduces the concepts and applications of fluid mechanics. Topics covered include: fluid properties and statics; energy, momentum and forces in fluid flow; steady flow in pressure conduits and open channels; and fluid measurements. Prerequisite(s): I ESE 201 and A PHY 140 or A PHY 142.
