Advanced General Chemistry II and Lab

Catalog description

Chemical kinetics, chemical equilibrium, spontaneity, entropy, free energy, electrochemistry, transition metals, coordination chemistry, organic and biochemical molecules. Experiments including solution properties, kinetics, equilibrium, spectroscopy and a final project. Only one of A CHM 121, T CHM 131, and T CHM 136 may be taken for credit. Honors College students only. Prerequisite(s): A CHM 115 or 120/124 (or T CHM 130/124 or T CHM 135). Course fee applies. Consult the Schedule of Classes.
