Catalog description
The functions of organs and systems along with cellular mechanisms that contribute to homeostasis in the human body. This course is a suggested prerequisite for many pharmacy programs and is helpful preparation for entrance exams for medical, dental, and physician assistant programs. Two 1 1/2-hour lecture periods each week. Prerequisite(s): A BIO 201, 202, 217 or 301.
