Catalog description

The chemistry and biochemical interrelationship of biomolecules (nucleic acids, proteins, carbohydrates, and lipids), enzyme catalysis, and introduction to metabolism. This course is part of the core requirements for the Biology/BS and BCAMB/BS programs and is often a prerequisite for many medical, veterinary, and dental programs. Only one of A CHM 342 and A BIO 365 may be taken for credit. Prerequisite(s): A CHM 220 and A CHM 221 and a grade of C or better in A BIO 212Y.
