Advanced Geophysical Data Analysis and Visualization

Catalog description

This course will expose students to current and best practices in working with a variety of geoscience-relevant datasets and methods to analyze and visualize them. We will use free- and open-source software packages, predominantly using the Python programming language. Course assignments and projects will emphasize reproducibility of scientific research results. Prerequisite(s): A ATM 350 or permission of instructor.
