Catalog description

A hands-on introduction to atmospheric science, including weather, climate, and air quality, through data-driven investigations. This course is designed to complement the material covered in A ATM 210. Students learn basic principles of atmospheric measurement and practice data collection using various sensors. Students also learn and practice the basics of atmospheric data analysis and visualization using scientific computing software. Open only to Atmospheric and Climate Science majors. Corequisite(s): A ATM 210. Offered spring semester only.
