Catalog description
This course offers a comparative approach to human-environmental relationships through time and across different portions of the world. Analysis of how societies, communities, and households adapt or transform with respect to diverse and dynamically changing natural resources, climates, technologies, and other environmental challenges and constraints faced by human societies. Course content emphasizes traditional societies living prior to and within the Industrial Age.
