MTR 293Master 500 - 1600 Ton Mate / 3rd Mate Unlimited Tonnage Upgrade

This course is designed to offer experienced mariners with a method to upgrade their current document and/or license. Current Coast Guard requirements require 720 days at sea wit h360 days on vessels over 1)100 GRT for 1600 Tons or 2) 50 GRT for 500 Tons and a minimum of 180 days standing a navigational bridge watch. Please check with the instructor concerning time/tonnage for 3rd mate any gross tons and Master levels. This course will provide the student with the knowledge and the practice to successfully pass the multiple exams required at the USCG Regional Exam Centers, RECs for their near coastal, <200 nm from shore, national license.
