Students develop familiarity and skills in the research process in order to observe behaviors and their functions. The process involves an inquiry-based approach to observe student behavior, create an intervention plan and a response plan as an action-based research project. The student research paper/project should coincide with the student's professional objectives. This course may be stacked with EDSE S492.
