Introduces students to their college experience and offers ways to cultivate belonging, direction, and success. Students learn tricks and tools that will help them navigate college and build a support network. This course is grounded in Indigenous ways of knowing, such as relationality and respect (for self, each other, our environment, and more-than-human relatives). All students are welcome in this course, no matter their background or educational path, but it is especially geared towards supporting first-generation, non-traditional, Indigenous, and/or historically under-supported students.
