Prerequisites: RESP 303 , RESP 312 , RESP 320 , and RESP 341 . Detailed study of invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation. Emphasis placed on terminology, technology, patient assessment and determination of appropriate modes, initiation of ventilation, humidification, adverse effects, and liberation.
