Catalog description

Prerequisite: RADT 151 . Addresses infection control, aseptic and non-aseptic techniques, caring for patients that have tubes, catheters, lines, and other devices, patients receiving contrast media, venipuncture, alternative medical treatments, and age-specific issues. This course will also include medical emergencies and trauma care associated with the field of Radiologic Technology. This course provides an overview of pharmacology and drug administration.
