Multivariate Analysis: Advanced General Linear Modeling and Introduction to Hierarchical Linear Modeling ((4 Units))

Catalog description

Prerequisites: PSYC 601 and PSYC 602 . Students learn advanced regression modeling techniques to test moderation, mediation and conditional mediation hypotheses. Students are also introduced to other General Linear Modeling (GLM) methods such as Discriminant Function Analysis, Canonical Correlation Analysis and Exploratory Factor Analysis. The GLM approach is compared to the Hierarchical Linear Modeling analytical tools so students can manage nested data and test cross level, longitudinal and event level designs.
