Catalog description

This course examines the portrayal and representation of political campaigns and elections through cinema. It provides students with a greater understanding of the history, traditions, powers, and potential of political campaigns and elections as viewed through film, as well as an appreciation of the important role that cinema plays in shaping how the public views politics in general.
