Prerequisite: Completion of one course in philosophy with a grade of C or higher or permission of the instructor. This course examines the philosophy of figures in contemporary philosophy broadly construed and from a variety of perspectives. It may address the work of figures such as Frege, Russell, Carnap, Wittgenstein, Rorty, Chalmers and others. (Formerly 3600:418)
