Leadership in Nursing ((2 Units))

Catalog description

Prerequisites: NURS 205 , NURS 206 , NURS 207 , and NURS 208 . Pre/Corequisite: STAT 260 or MATH 135 . This 8-week course focuses on the application of leadership and management in the clinical setting. Political, social, cultural, legal and ethical issues are explored. Program review and prep testing for NCLEX will occur at the beginning and end of course. This course uses the core organizing concepts within the QSEN and clinical judgment frameworks. A concept-based curriculum with selected nursing concepts will be followed.
