Complex/Critical Care in Nursing ((5 Units))

Catalog description

Prerequisite: NURS 205 . Pre/Corequisite: STAT 260 or MATH 135 . This 15-week course focuses on high acuity patient care in various critical care or complex settings. Knowledge and clinical competency skills will be built while advancing clinical judgment and synthesis of complex patient issues. This course uses the core organizing concepts within the QSEN framework. A concept-based curriculum with selected nursing concepts will be followed.
