Catalog description

Prerequisites: PSYC 230 , BIOL 130 , and NURS 104 . The focus of this 5-week course is the nursing care of children from infants to adolescents and their families during health and illness. Growth and development of children will be emphasized. This course uses the core organizing concepts within the QSEN and clinical judgment framework. A concept-based curriculum with selected nursing concepts will be followed.
