Catalog description
Prerequisites: PSYC 230 , BIOL 130 , and NURS 104 . The focus of this 5-week course is the nursing care of the childbearing family. Nursing care of the mother, newborn and family during the antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum periods will be emphasized. This course uses the core organizing concepts within the QSEN and clinical judgment framework. A concept-based curriculum with selected nursing concepts will be followed.
