Catalog description

Prerequisite: Graduate status and permission of the instructor and department chair. Individual study under the guidance of professor who directs and coordinates student's reading and research. The general designation of MODL is used for languages that do not have a specific department number (i.e., Arabic, Chinese, Portuguese, etc.). May be repeated with departmental permission.
