Prerequisite: MATH 223 and admission to an engineering major within the College of Engineering and Polymer Science. Pre/Corequisite: PHYS 292 . Credit not allowed for both 300 and 305. Introduction to first and second laws of thermodynamics, perfect gas relationships, equations of state, cycle analysis. Introduction to conduction, convection and radiation heat transfer.
