Prerequisite: Completion of [ ENGL 112 or ENGL 114 or ENGL 222 ] or equivalent and a minimum of sophomore or greater standing. Courses 285 through 291 are designed to provide a basic knowledge of past human experiences and an understanding of current events in key areas of the non-Western world.
