Prerequisite: Completion of ENGL 112 or equivalent, or any [ENGL 200-, or ENGL 300 - or, ENGL 400 -] level course and a minimum of Junior standing or higher, or permission. Second language acquisition theories and teaching methodologies surveyed. Second language teaching principles from research in linguistics, psycholinguistics, and second language pedagogy explored.
