Catalog description

Prerequisite: Completion of ENGL 112 or equivalent, or any [ENGL 200-, or ENGL 300 -, or ENGL 400 -] level English course, or permission of the instructor. Designed to help prepare student for a career as professional business writer. Stresses theory and practice of written and oral communication in business organization. Individual and group performance, relating to communication theories, concepts of semantics. Functional writing as well as special needs of business are illustrated by actual cases.
