Fire & Emergency Services Instructor Development ((3 Units))

Catalog description

Prerequisite: For Ohio Certification, a fire, emergency services, or fire inspector credential must be completed before starting the course. This sophomore-level course is designed to prepare Emergency Management and Homeland Security professionals as Level 1 and Level 2 NFPA Instructors. Over the semester, students will develop essential skills in adult education, communication, instructional methods, lesson plan development, and program management specific to fire and emergency services training.
