Catalog description

Prerequisite: Admission to the School of Education. Pre/Corequisite: EDCI 619 . Corequisite: EDCI 512 . This course prepares social studies teacher candidates enrolled in the Masters with Licensure program to identify and implement research-based planning, instruction, and assessment techniques for effectively teaching social studies in secondary schools. The course includes 25 hours of field experience.
