Catalog description

Prerequisites: Admission to the Counseling program and COUN 631 , or permission. School counselors serve as leaders and advocates in school settings. Collaboration is critical to the work of school counselors. This course will introduce students to the American School Counselor Association's (ASCA) national model, comprehensive school counseling programs, examine school counselor leadership practices and community engagement.
