Prerequisite: BIOL 202 , BIOL 363 , or BIOL 473 . Study of mechanisms determining gas exchange including mechanics, ventilation, blood flow, diffusion, and control systems. Emphasis is given to normal human lung function. (Clinical aspects are not considered in detail.)
