Catalog description

A lecture course exploring current topics and media/materials and techniques in middle school art education. Students will develop an understanding and application of practical media for the middle school art classroom. Students will develop a portfolio of middle school art teaching strategies that apply knowledge of adolescent developmental characteristics and instructional goals to help students achieve maximum growth intellectually, socially and artistically.
