Catalog description

Develops algebraic skills necessary for manipulating expressions and solving equations. Topics in the course include radicals, complex numbers, polynomials, factoring, rational expressions, quadratic equations, absolute value equations, systems of linear equations in two variables, related applications, and linear inequalities. This course prepares students for MAT 1340 College Algebra. Course readiness is determined by review of high school transcripts, assessment, and/or meeting with an Aims Academic Advisor. Course is repeatable for credit with no limitations.
